A core part of South East Asian culture, Silat has been practiced and passed down for hundreds of years. The silat tradition is mostly oral, having been passed down almost entirely by word of mouth. In the absence of written records, much of its history is known only through myth and archaeological evidence. We're here to make sure that Silat continues, using a digital medium that's accessible to all.
To peak teenage interest and act as a reference point to the different types of Silat we have in the country.
We hope to see a rise in tenage interest in silat, to ensure that the art is continually passed down.
